Geoff - you are one of the few conservationists who "gets" why conservation finance is important. It has been a real pleasure to work with you and to understand better the polar bear world. You have opened my eyes to the far north, but it has been much more difficult than I imagined to gain the trust that we need to achieve large-scale long-term finance. I know that in your new position at Polar Bears International you will be able to continue making a big difference for polar bears. I've also enjoyed the adventures in Copenhagen, Moscow and Churchill - you and Sue showed great restraint in not laughing too hard about the bird and cold showers in Moscow.
